- Online Reporting (Fee Payment & Document Upload): The window for online reporting begins immediately after the result and must be completed by July 14, 2025.
- Last Date for Seat Acceptance Fee Payment: The final date to pay the fee is July 14, 2025.
Steps for Online Reporting:
- Pay the Seat Acceptance Fee: Pay the fee online using Net Banking, Credit Card, or Debit Card. The fee varies by category:
- ₹15,000: For SC, ST, GEN-PwD, GEN-EWS-PwD, OBC-NCL-PwD, SC-PwD, and ST-PwD categories.
- ₹30,000: For all other categories.
- Upload Documents: Upload all the required documents as per the official JoSAA list.
- Confirm the Allotted Seat: Choose your option—Freeze, Float, or Slide—to confirm your acceptance of the seat.
- Respond to Queries: If any queries are raised regarding your documents, you must respond promptly to avoid cancellation of your seat. The last date to respond is July 15, 2025.

Withdrawal & Exit from Counselling
This round is the final opportunity for candidates to withdraw from the counselling process.
- Withdrawal Option: Candidates who have been allotted a seat in any round of counselling can request to withdraw their seat. For IIT admissions, the last date to request a withdrawal is July 14, 2025.
- Exit Option: This option is for candidates who have not been allotted a seat yet and wish to exit the counselling process entirely. This is also their final opportunity to do so before Round 6.

1) What is the eligibility criteria to apply for CSE at NITs ?
To be eligible for admission to the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) program at NITs, a candidate must:
