The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially released the RRB NTPC 2025 Undergraduate (12th-pass level)exam dates, and lakhs of candidates have been waiting eagerly for this announcement. This exam offers a golden opportunity to secure government jobs in the Indian Railways for posts like Junior Clerk–Typist, Train Clerk, and Commercial cum Ticket Clerk.

The Computer-Based Test (CBT 1) for undergraduate posts is scheduled to be held from August 7 to September 8, 2025.This first stage of the recruitment process will be conducted in multiple shifts each day (morning, afternoon, and evening sessions) to accommodate the large number of applicants.

Admit Card and City Intimation Slip

To facilitate you in planning their travel and stay, the RRB will issue the city intimation slip and admit card as per the following schedule:

  • City Intimation Slip: This will be released 10 days before the candidate’s individual exam date. It will provide details about the exam city, exam date, and shift. This is not the admit card, but serves as an advance notification.Candidates can download it from the official regional RRB websites using their registration number and date of birth.
  • Admit Card (e-call letter): The official admit card will be available for download 4 days before the candidate’s exam date. It is crucial to print this admit card and carry it to the exam centre along with a valid photo ID (Aadhaar card, Voter ID, or Driving License). SC/ST candidates may also download a free travel pass from the same portal, if applicable.

RRB NTPC Undergraduate Exam 2025: Shift Timings

The CBT-1 exam will be conducted in three daily shifts. Candidates must report 90 minutes before the exam start time to complete mandatory biometric verification and security checks. Latecomers will not be permitted entry after the gate closes.
