London-based tech innovator Nothing is set to make a significant splash in the consumer electronics market today, July 1,2025, at its highly anticipated “Come to Play” launch event. The company will introduce two major products: the Nothing Phone (3), billed as its “first true flagship smartphone,” and its debut over-ear headphones, the Nothing Headphone (1).

Nothing Phone (3): What to Expect from Nothing’s First “True Flagship”

The Nothing Phone (3) is poised to mark a significant leap for the brand, positioned as its first true flagship smartphone. Launching today, July 1, 2025, at 10:30 PM IST, this device promises substantial upgrades in performance, design, and software, aiming to redefine the premium Android experience.

Performance Powerhouse

At its core, the Nothing Phone (3) will be powered by the advanced Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. This processor is expected to deliver substantial improvements in CPU, GPU, and AI performance, ensuring smooth multitasking, demanding gaming, and efficient on-device generative AI experiences.

Elevated Design with a Signature Touch

True to Nothing’s unique aesthetic, the Phone (3) is expected to retain the iconic Glyph Interface, though now reportedly positioned at the top right of the rear panel. Leaked renders suggest a refined design with a translucent back and a rearranged triple camera layout: two sensors grouped, and one positioned separately.

Camera Prowess for Creators

The Phone (3) is likely to feature a 50-megapixel main camera alongside a 50MP ultrawide and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, a first for Nothing. This improved zoom capability is specifically aimed at content creators, promising versatile and high-quality photography. The front camera is also rumored to be a 50MP sensor with autofocus support.

Long-Term Software Commitment & AI Integration

Nothing is committed to long-term support, promising an impressive seven years of software support: five years of Android OS updates (shipping with Android 16) and two years of security patches. The device might also debut with a dedicated AI button, hinting at deeper AI integration, though official confirmation is awaited.

Pricing & Availability

CEO Carl Pei confirmed the Phone (3) would be priced around 800 euros globally (approximately ₹90,500). In India, the expected pricing for the Nothing Phone (3) is competitive, ranging between ₹50,000 and ₹60,000, making it a strong contender in the premium segment.
