FAQs – Gujarat Board HSC Supply Result 2025
1. What is the difference between a supplementary exam and a re-exam in Gujarat Board ?
The supplementary exam is conducted for students who failed in one or more subjects, giving them a chance to pass without repeating the entire academic year. A re-exam may be applied for under specific cases like medical emergencies or misreported results but is not the same as the scheduled supplementary exam.
2. Will the supplementary result affect my eligibility for college admissions ?
Yes, while you can apply for college admissions with supplementary results, some universities may have cut-off dates or may not accept late results. Students are advised to contact respective institutions for confirmation.
3. Can I apply for rechecking or revaluation of my supplementary result ?
Yes, GSEB usually allows students to apply for mark verification or rechecking even after supplementary results. The details and application process are generally shared through a circular on the GSEB website shortly after the results are announced.
4. What if I failed again in the supplementary exam ?
If a student fails in the supplementary exam, they may need to reappear in the next annual exam cycle. They should stay in touch with the school for guidance on registration and preparation for the next attempt.
5. How can schools download the post-result circular and perform corrections ?
Schools can log in to the official GSEB school portal and download the circular related to mark verification, name corrections, and group changes. Only school principals or administrators have access to these tools, and students should coordinate with their school office for such requests.
