The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has officially released the RPSC 1st Grade Teacher Notification 2025 for a total of 3225 School Lecturer vacancies across 27 subjects. - Navigate to the RPSC section and click on the ‘Apply Online’ link for 1st Grade.
- Create a new SSO ID or login with an existing one.
- Fill in personal and academic details in the application form.
- Upload necessary documents, including photograph and signature.
- Pay the application fee via Net Banking/Debit/Credit Card.

RPSC 1st Grade Teacher Eligibility Criteria 2025
Candidates must fulfill the eligibility conditions prescribed in the notification. Eligibility includes educational qualifications and age criteria.
For Secondary Education Department:
- Post Graduate Degree in the concerned subject.
- A recognized degree or diploma in education (e.g., B.Ed.).
- Permanent domicile of Rajasthan.
For Sanskrit Department:
- For Hindi, English, Political Science: 2nd Class PG Degree with 48% minimum and B.Ed./Shiksha Shastri.
- For General Grammar, History, Yajurveda: Acharya Degree with minimum 48% in the concerned subject and Sanskrit medium.

As on 1 January 2025, the age limit is as follows:
- Minimum Age: 21 Years
- Maximum Age: 40 Years
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST/OBC (Male): +5 years
- SC/ST/OBC (Female): +10 years
- General (Female): +5 years
- Widows and Physically Handicapped: No Upper Age Limit

1. Can candidates from other states apply for RPSC 1st Grade Teacher 2025 ?
Yes, candidates from other states can apply; however, they will be treated as General category applicants and won’t be eligible for Rajasthan state reservation benefits. Also, they must meet all eligibility conditions as specified in the notification.
2. Is there negative marking in the RPSC 1st Grade Teacher exam ?
Yes, RPSC generally follows a negative marking scheme. For each incorrect answer, 1/3rd of the marks allotted to that question are deducted. Candidates are advised to attempt only those questions they are confident about.
